Scene 2!

Hey friends! Long time no post!

I've been super busy-- surprisingly a thesis project, an internship, and two jobs make for a pretty full schedule. Here's a quick recap:

I'm interning with The Brick Theatre Company this July on their ?!Interrobang:New Works festival! It's going to be a blast-- the festival has so many genres of entertainers and I can't wait to work with artists of all concentrations!

I went to the Tony Awards with my good friend and collaborator, Josh, and we had a really incredible time! We took SO many pictures and I only tripped in my heels about 40 times (NYC grates are hard on heels).

Me and Josh, pre-Tony Awards!

I made my (sort of) Feinstein's/54 Below debut as a stage manager on the show, New Musicals from Emerging Artists, produced by Jamie Maletz, featuring songs by Nathan Fosbinder and Molly Reisman, Eric Fegan and Jamie Maletz, and Martha-Emily Harvel and Kelsey Christine McConnell.

I got hired by a preschool franchise to write and format curriculum, which I've never done before! I'm learning so much from this project... can't really say more than that, but it's super exciting to be working on an education-based project!

I also got hired by Pip's Island, an immersive TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) show in the city, which I'm incredibly excited for! I'm an ambassador for the show and get to work hands-on with the audiences and actors!

As if that weren't enough, I also just got to record mine and Durra Leung's ten-minute Jack and Jill adaptation, "The Rise and Fall of Otis," with a bunch of really talented friends, from both inside the program and undergrad! I'll be posting the demo on here as soon as it's done, so keep an eye out for that!

AND I'm still plugging away at my thesis project with Stephen, the world's most wonderful human! We're so excited about our ideas and can't wait to work on them!

I think that's the recap for now! See ya soon for Scene 3!
